Mine Escape 2 is a 2D Platformer where Sebastian has to escape the flooding Kern Mine using his mutant powers to control some gremlins. Does he follow the signs to nab the leftover treasure on his way out or follow the signs for the exit? You decide.
I independently developed this game in Unity. The music is original and all art assets are from Foxfin and Grande Pixel.

Responsibilities - Designer

Programmed in C# for the character to have the ability to control some of the gremlins in-game and use them to collect pickups in certain levels

Designed and assured and the pacing of the game was user friendly through numerous playtests

Built levels that gave players agency to choose which route they wanted to take to escape the mine

Utilized Cinemachine in Unity and music tracks to set the mood for the player and communicate whether the player should feel a sense of urgency

Worked with Point Lights and Particle Systems to help add polish to the game
